Incline Builds B2B Service Brands Platform

LYNX Franchising, a portfolio company of Incline Equity Partners, has acquired FRSTeam, a provider of disaster recovery services.

FRSTeam (Fabric Restoration Service Team) specializes in the restoration of clothing and textiles damaged by smoke, fire, water, and mold. The Hayward, California-based company was founded in 1988 and expanded nationally as FRSTeam in 2006 and now has 48 franchise and company store locations servicing 48 states across the U.S. and Canada.

“We look forward to leveraging the experience and leadership LYNX provides to build upon the success that our team has achieved so far,” said Holly Murry, brand president at FRSTeam.  “It was important to find a partner that would enhance the customer experience through a broadened service offering.”

Incline acquired Premium Franchise Brands, the owner of the commercial janitorial cleaning brand JAN-PRO and residential cleaning brand Maid Right, in October 2016. The company was renamed LYNX Franchising in May 2019. The Maid Right brand was sold to Premium Service Brands in February 2020.

JAN-PRO has more than $500 million in system-wide sales and has more than 8,000 unit franchisees and over 125 master franchisees in 41 states and 9 countries.

Intelligent Office (IO), acquired by LYNX in February 2019, is a staffed, temporary, and virtual office space used by mobile executives and small businesses. IO provides 24/7 access to offices and provides broadband internet, office furniture, telephones, and remote receptionists. IO has more than $32 million in system-wide sales, with 59 locations throughout the United States and Canada.

LYNX supports its franchisees through branding, lead generation, technology, and corporate infrastructure support. The company was founded in 1991 and is based in Alpharetta, Georgia.

“We are proud to provide a robust platform that supports the growing needs of our franchisees,” said Justin Bertram, a senior partner at Incline.  “We are building the premier B2B services franchising platform to help small business owners and entrepreneurs successfully operate and grow their businesses.  We will continue to add brands with consistent demand and attractive growth potential that can be fueled through our platform.”

Pittsburgh-based Incline was formed in 2011 and is led by its senior partners, Jack Glover, Justin Bertram and Leon Rubinov.

LYNX and Incline continue to seek acquisitions of other franchised commercial services brands.
