Z Capital Adds Corporate Development Pro

Z Capital Group (ZCG) has added Laura Krivec to its team as Director of Corporate Development.

Ms. Krivec will be active with project management, developing new and existing relationships with pension consultants, private wealth platforms and fund placement groups, as well as coordinating all outreach to current and prospective investors.

Prior to joining ZCG, Ms. Krivec worked for nearly five years in the London office of Cambridge Associates, most recently as an associate investment director in the firm’s real assets investment group where she led investment due diligence and monitoring of fund commitments within the real estate and infrastructure categories. Earlier, she was a financial and geopolitical research analyst at London-based Saracen Ventures. Ms. Krivec has her undergraduate degree from Arizona State and her MBA from Wharton.

“We are pleased to welcome Laura to ZCG,” said James Zenni, the founder, president and chief executive officer of ZCG. “With extensive experience in both investing and financial research roles, I am confident that she will be immediately impactful to our corporate development initiatives as we launch new funds and pursue co-investment opportunities.”

“ZCG is an impressive firm with differentiated investment strategies and I am excited to join the growing team,” said Ms. Krivec. “I look forward to further strengthening the firm’s relationships with new and existing investors and working closely with Jim and the team as we capitalize on the many growth opportunities ahead.”

New York City-headquartered Z Capital makes control investments in middle-market companies that are active in the consumer products, food, restaurants, gaming hospitality, manufacturing, media, publishing, metals and business services sectors. The firm’s investment types include growth platforms, corporate carve-outs, buy & build, and go-private transactions.
