PSP Adds Jacknob to E.B. Bradley

E.B. Bradley, a portfolio company of PSP Capital Partners, has acquired Jacknob, a provider of bathroom hardware and accessories.

PSP, a family-controlled private investment firm founded by former U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker, acquired E.B. Bradley in February 2015 from Industrial Opportunity Partners.

Jacknob is a family-owned distributor of toilet partition hardware and accessories to manufacturers, distributors, commercial installers, facility managers and custodians.

According to the company, it has the largest inventory of toilet partition hardware in the US and maintains a supply of thousands of unique toilet partition configurations. Jacknob was founded in 1959 and is headquartered on Long Island in Hauppauge, New York.

E.B. Bradley is a distributor of specialty hardware, surfacing products, flooring and woodworking supplies, and a manufacturer of laminated panels. The company serves the commercial construction and residential renovation markets. E.B. Bradley operates from a network of facilities located in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. The company, led by CEO Don Lorey, was founded in 1929 by Earl Bertrand Bradley and is based in Los Angeles.

“E.B. Bradley is excited to welcome Jacknob into our family of businesses,” said Mr. Lorey. “We believe E.B. Bradley is a perfect home for Jacknob. Not only do both companies provide best-in-class specialty building products, but we share similar core values and customer-centric culture. Simply put, both businesses will be made stronger together.”

“We are thrilled to support our partners at E.B. Bradley in continuing to expand the business,” said Michael Oleshansky, a managing director at PSP Capital. “The addition of Jacknob is a logical extension of the E.B. Bradley platform, and will enable both businesses to continue to provide their customers with outstanding customer service for all of their product needs.”

PSP Capital Partners invests from $25 million to $200 million of equity in companies that are active in business and technology services, industrial products and services including high-value manufacturing and distribution, and food and agribusiness. The Chicago-based firm was founded by Penny Pritzker, former Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America.
